Los Angeles is our playground. Hahaha makes organic kids’ clothing that feels as free and fearless as the city we call home.
Hahaha is a Los Angeles-based kids' streetwear brand. Every garment is made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton, cut and sewn entirely in LA. Our signature feature is an interchangeable hook-and-loop patch system: all the tops (hoodies, tees, and jackets) come with a built-in round patch panel on the chest, and kids swap embroidered patches to express their mood, their culture, or their favorite characters. It's one garment with endless combinations, designed to replace the cycle of buying a new character tee every month. For ages 3-12.
Pure cotton. Pure joy. Pure magic.
What does GOTS-certified actually mean?
Here's something most parents don't know: "organic cotton" only describes how the cotton was grown. It says nothing about what happens after harvest. That cotton can still be bleached with chlorine, dyed with heavy metals, and treated with wrinkle-resistant finishes that contain formaldehyde. None of that has to be disclosed on the label.
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is different. It's the highest textile certification in the world, and it covers the entire journey from seed to finished garment. That means no toxic dyes, no formaldehyde, no heavy metals, and every step of the supply chain is independently audited. Our cotton is certified under Transaction Certificate #GOTS-CUC-03-TC-1033552, and we're happy to show the paperwork.
When a label just says "organic," that's marketing. When it says GOTS-certified, that's proof.
Why does it matter where kids' clothes are made?
Every Hahaha garment is cut and sewn in Los Angeles by our production partner, Euphoric Colors. Not "designed in LA" and shipped overseas. Actually made here, from start to finish.
That means fair wages, safe working conditions, and real quality control on every piece. It also means a shorter supply chain with lower carbon emissions from shipping. And it means you're welcome to visit the factory where your kid's hoodie was made. Seriously. We'll set it up.
We chose LA manufacturing because we believe if you can't see how something is made, you can't trust what's in it. Transparency isn't a buzzword for us. It's the whole point.
Is this safe for kids with sensitive skin or eczema?
A child's skin is about 30% thinner than an adult's. It absorbs more, and it absorbs faster. And because kids' livers and kidneys are still developing, their bodies can't flush out chemical exposure the way ours can. Small exposures build up.
That's why every Hahaha garment is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, meaning it's been independently tested for over 350 harmful substances including formaldehyde, heavy metals, pesticide residues, and phthalates. If it touches your kid's skin, we've made sure it's safe.
No stain-resistant coatings. No wrinkle-free chemical finishes. No flame retardants on everyday clothes. Just clean, soft, certified organic cotton.
